My story

Ceramics has been an essential part of my life for the past 20 years. Working with clay is my yoga. It's my creative outlet, and it is when my mind is most quiet. I love making pieces that bring joy and beauty to everyday functions.

My studio is in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle. I am inspired by classic ceramic forms, landscape architecture, nature, and contemporary design. I have a minimalist aesthetic and love tactile carvings and patterns. I throw with stoneware and porcelain. I hope you enjoy my work and that it inspires your creative spirit!

I live in Seattle with my wife and daughter, who happily product test all of my work. When I am not spending time in the studio, I love exploring the amazing Pacific Northwest by foot, bike, and boat.
